Living spaces: kitchen, dining room and lounge
A large fitted kitchen, a dining room made for celebrations and a lounge with an open fire — where everyone ends up anyway.

A large, bright kitchen
This is the most used room in the house. It is big, very well lit, and equipped for genuine cooking rather than reheating: dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge-freezer, filter and Senseo coffee machines, kettle, toaster, a full set of pans and crockery for eight.
There is a television in the kitchen, as in many Burgundy homes, for breakfasts that run long. The Chablis market is a few hundred metres away: you come back with your arms full and cook on the spot.

The dining room, made for long meals
The large table comfortably seats eight. This is where family meals stretch on, with a bottle of Chablis chilling, when the weather will not allow the table to be laid outside.
The room opens directly onto both the kitchen and the lounge, so you never have to cross a bedroom to move around.

A lounge with an open fire
The lounge has a flat-screen TV and a DVD player, deep armchairs and — above all — a fireplace, which is what makes an off-season stay worthwhile. In November, after a day of visits, it is the best room in the house.
Free Wi-Fi covers the whole property, lounge and bedrooms included: working remotely from Chablis for a few days is perfectly possible.
