The enclosed garden, with its view over the vineyard slopes
A house opened to guests so that it could keep on living
Roseline and her daughter Béatrice welcome you to the Bègue family home, in the centre of the village.
In opening this house to the public, Béatrice wanted to see it come alive again — as busy as it was in the past, when long tables were set out in the garden and the kitchen smelled of her grandmother’s tarts. Nothing has been turned into a “holiday product”: the family furniture is still here, so is the lounge fireplace and the long dining table.
The house is detached and entirely on one level, set in fully enclosed grounds — a rare kind of peace of mind when you travel with young children. The garden is not overlooked and opens onto the slopes of the Chablis vineyard.
- 160sq m of living space

What our guests say
A little paradise — and yes, it does exist in Chablis! Perfectly located, spotlessly clean, spacious, practical… there are not enough words for this house.
So large, so spacious and so well equipped for a whole family — that is rare. The sun was out and we were able to enjoy the village and the banks of the Serein.
A really lovely place. Everything that we wanted and more. Wonderfully equipped kitchen and rooms.
