Enclosed garden and terrace overlooking the vineyard
Large, fully enclosed grounds with no overlooking neighbours, open onto the slopes of Chablis.

Fully enclosed grounds
The garden wraps around all four sides of the house and closes with a gate. There is nothing overlooking it and no road to cross, so children and pets move freely — which explains why the same families come back year after year.
The ground is flat and planted with mature trees that give natural shade in summer. Parking is inside the property.

The terrace and the long summer table
This is the memory Béatrice wanted to bring back when she opened the house: long tables set outside in summer, late into the evening. The garden furniture and table allow six to eight people to eat outdoors, lunch and dinner.
A barbecue is available. Gougères from the Chablis baker and a chilled bottle of Petit Chablis take care of the rest.

The view over the slopes
From the far end of the garden you look straight out over the slopes of the Chablis vineyard. The view changes completely with the season: dense green in July, gold and rust at harvest, the bare geometry of the vines in winter.
The vineyard tracks begin a few minutes’ walk from the gate. The bicycles lent by the house get you there in a few turns of the pedals.
